Dipankar Dipon is a Bangladeshi film director and screenwriter, He born in 1976 at Rangpur, Bangladesh. He starts TV fiction and film making by a film appreciation course in 1995 in Dhaka by Dhaka University Film Society. Dipankar started his career of directing TV drama & film making in 1998, He has already made 1 Feature Film, He has directed the blockbuster hit police thriller Dhaka Attack (2017) , which has won four National film awards in 2017 including- best film, best actor, best sound, and best make-up. In his 20+ years career he has made 1 Web content for Hoi Choi, 30 TV Movies ( Telefilm), 25 TV serials, 40 Short TV Video fictions, 48 live action films for sesame street Bangladesh, 2 Short Films, 12 Documentaries.

He has completed Masters in ‘Drama & Dramatics’ from reputed ‘Jahangirnagar University’, Bangladesh. He also got many other notable awards from theatre and television for his outstanding directorial work.
He worked as Managing Director of Swapnaghuri Communications 2004 to 2006. Then he became Live Action Director at Sesame Workshop under Asiatic since 2008-2012. After that he has moved to Mumbai and stated working as Senior Script writer in Phantom Films at Mumbai from 2012-2014. He was acting Head of Program (Program Manager) at Bangla TV from 2017-2018, and designed lots of nonfiction Program there. Then he work as Managing Director of Three Wheelers Limited from 2018 to 2019.
